What to consider:

City names that exist multiple times must be entered with an additional specification (e.g., Newport Wales or Newport Isle of Wight).

In order for the calculator to convert your birth time to astronomical time, there are a few points to consider:

  1. If you were born in Central Europe (e.g., Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, France, etc.), you do not need to change the time zone of the birthplace. If you were born further east or west, please select the corresponding time zone (e.g., Greece = +2 or UK = 0). If you are not sure in which time zone your birth country is located, you can check on this time zone map.
  2. Daylight Saving Time - we have taken Daylight Saving Time into account for all birth dates after 1946 in Central Europe. If you were born before 1946, you need to find out if Daylight Saving Time was observed and if your birthday fell within Daylight Saving Time. Then subtract Daylight Saving Time from your birth time (e.g., May 4, 1943, 5:30 PM - Daylight Saving Time = 4:30 PM) and uncheck 'Countries with Daylight Saving Time in Europe'.

The 'Age' column includes your current 10-year period, which currently influences your constellation.
